Ewart Engineering has supplied custom machined parts to the refuse and recycling sector since 1996. A rapidly evolving sector as refuse collection has changed in line with environmental concerns, we’ve been able to supply high quality, bespoke parts to industry leaders to meet changing demands in the sector.

An example of our work here can be seen on virtually any refuse collector operating in England. Twin-pack doors are a recent innovation, allowing segregation of recyclable and landfill materials.

At Ewart Engineering we produce a range of bespoke twin-pack doors including packers and sweepers, for multiple vehicle types, encapsulating 50/50 and 70/30 split designs as required.

We also supply refuse and recycling truck subframes to accommodate customer requirements, allowing our clients to offer a wider choice of truck manufacturers – eg. Dennis, Volvo or Mercedes – enabling the integration of a standard recycling unit.
